Reportedly, Preity Zinta joins the chat show bandwagon on the small screen with her upcoming show 'Up Close and Personal with PZ', where she will be seen having a freewheeling talk with Bollywood stars.

On the UTV show, Preity will be chatting with celebrities about their journey via personal quizzes, career maps, prodding some dark secrets, hidden talents and impromptu tests on acting and dancing skills. 

“I am very excited about the show as I feel it is the perfect platform for me to connect with the audiences while giving them access and to know the real stars,” Preity said at the show’s launch. 

The show will be aired on UTV Stars from September 3.

While Salman is working on the promotions of Bodyguard , at the same time he is engaged in shooting for his next, Ek Tha Tiger. This has left Salman with almost no time to exercise.

A source reveals, "Salman does not believe in missing on his workout sessions. But with his blocked schedules, the only time he finds from his hectic schedule is while travelling from promotional events of Bodyguard to the sets of Ek Tha Tiger. The maverick actor sweats it out cycling from one location to the other."

Salman worked out aggressively to acquire a comparatively leaner look for the climax in Bodyguard and he plans to maintain it. And thus, his regular workout session cannot be missed out.

Cycling for a few hours in the day has become an essential part of this bodyguard's routine and Salman is indeed paying good attention to his body.

Bodyguard is Salman's and Kareena's upcoming Eid release. It will be the third Eid release of Salman after blockbusters like Wanted (2009) and Dabangg (2010).

"So it is official now...the cast of Raaz 3 - Emraan, Jacqueline and .....Bipasha Basu!," filmmaker Vikram Bhatt said on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"Bipasha fans out there! How do you like the name Shanaya for her Character in Raaz 3?," he asked.

Bhatt's 2002 thriller Raaz was a big commercial success and it brought in a lot of appreciation for Bipasha. She received her first Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare for her role in the film.

Directed by Bhatt, Raaz had Bipasha and Dino Morea in the lead, while a sequel, released in 2009 (Raaz - The Mystery Continues) had Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut and was directed by Mohit Suri.

After almost a decade, Bipasha is returning to the Raaz franchise, to be directed by Bhatt again this time.

"A big shout out to a dear friend thevikrambhatt! Do welcome him to twitterverse! Looking forward to Raaz 3," an excited Bipasha said on twitter.

Bhatt returns to Vishesh Films for Raaz 3. He started his career in 1992 with the production house's Jaanam, and went on to do four more films with it, including the first of the Raaz series, and Footpath (2003).

Ekta Kapoor Held at Mumabi Airport for Undeclared Goods

Television and film producer Ekta Kapoor was detained at the airport here on her way back from Bangkok Sunday night for carrying undeclared goods and released after she paid duty, an official said.

"She was intercepted while she passed the green channel for carrying undeclared goods. She was released after paying a penalty of Rs.50,000," Deputy Commissioner of Customs (Airport) Sameer Wankhede told reporters Monday.

Kapoor is the latest in a long line of celebrities held by the Mumbai customs department for carrying undeclared goods.

On June 27, actress Anushka Sharma was detained at the Mumbai airport for carrying undeclared jewellery worth Rs.35 lakh. She was on her way back to India after attending the IIFA awards at Toronto.

On June 7, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat`s brother Vikram Lamba was detained for carrying excess foreign currency and dutiable items.

On May 26, Bipasha Basu had to pay duty of Rs.13,000 for carrying excess baggage.



A few days before that, on May 18, another Bollywood actress, Minissha Lamba, was detained for 16 hours by the customs department for carrying undeclared jewellery worth nearly Rs.50 lakh.

A friend of Katrina says, “Katrina Kaif had to turn down the film with Karan and Ayan Mukherjee, both of them are very close to her. She tried her best to accommodate the dates, but it was not possible, since she had already committed to, Ek Tha Tiger and Aditya’s film with Shah Rukh Khan. She is however, looking forward to working with them in the near future.”

Chopra has signed a worldwide recording agreement with the US-based Universal Music Group and Desi Hits, a fusion entertainment company that gives a platform to artistes of Indian and South Asian origins.

"I am excited about getting an opportunity to present my musical dimension on a world platform," added Chopra, who is a trained Western classical singer.

"I will be working with some of the most illustrious names in the international music industry. This is a fascinating new experience and I am thoroughly enjoying the journey," she said.

To be sung in English, the songs are written by the actress whose musical career will be managed in the West by Troy Carter who also manages Lady Gaga.

"Priyanka's foray into the American music industry meets the vision of our company which strives to fuse the best of the eastern and western culture to create good music," said Anjula Acharia-Bath, CEO of Desi Hits.

Recording labels associated with the project can't stop raving about their association with the Bollywood heroine.

"Pop music has always had a love affair with Indian culture and with Priyanka's talent, we have the opportunities to push the boundaries of popular culture," said Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records.

Anthony Saleh, executive vice-president and general manager of Atom Factory, felt the actress had the ability to redefine world pop music.

Bollywood insiders said there are several digital 'voice altering' tools these days that can make anybody sound melodious by auto tuning and pitch correction.

“However, no software can alter the basic texture and characteristics of a voice without sounding flat and artificial," said a leading music composer.

Sawansukha Jewellers, the traditional jewellery makers from Kolkata participated in the second edition of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) in Mumbai and on the third day of the event former Bollywood sex symbol Zeenat Aman sizzled the ramp.

Inspired from the ‘Navratnas’ (nine gems) the collection that was presented by the jewellery house in the event was named “Celestial Divas”. It mainly aimed at the bride of the 21st century.

IIJW is presented by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council.

The collection included magnificent collars with moulded triangular diamond pieces, the heart shaped emerald pendants, the asymmetric swirl of onyx edging an uncut diamond collar, diamonds flowing into rows of gold circular spirals and the chandelier earrings with pearl drops were part of this collection.

The beauty of the collection reached a separate height with the innovative plaited diamond piece that has matching earrings and ‘kada’.
