Bollywood Czarina Kareena Kapoor, renowned for her sense of style and fashion, is ready to scorch the big screen yet again in her forthcoming film, Bodyguard.

Sporting a desi avatar in the film, styled by Manish Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor has regained her curves and is still maintaining her fitness quotient. The actress is looking better than ever in the film.

Immaculate as ever, Kareena sports some signature cocktail saris, bright kurtas and exotic jewellery that the designer sourced from across the country.

Says a source, “Kareena Kapoor goes ethnic in Bodyguard, with mostly Indian traditional clothes. Most of the outfits, she will wear, are bright colors and have embroidered patch crochet and threadwork. She is looking like a million bucks in some of the outfits and can give any of her contemporaries a run for their money.”

Says Kareena, “A woman can be glamorous in any avatar - be it a bikini or a sari. To me, looking the part and playing the character right is more important that just looking glamorous."

New rumours and speculations have been buzzing around regarding the new heroine of the movie since the fall of Aishwariya. In the long series of speculations the latest one is about Kareena Kapoor, who will be the new female lead for the Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’.

However, there are no comments from Bhandarkar on the latest buzz; but on 19th July 2011, he tweeted saying: “No one has been finalised to play the lead in “HEROINE” till now. I request to Pls dismiss all the baseless rumours & speculation.”

Reports claim that the final race between Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor for the role was won by Kareena who accepted the offer of the role. A quote from Kareena on accepting the role says: “I’ve said yes to Madhur and okayed the script. Now the dates and fee etc are being worked out.”

The shooting of ‘Heroine’ was stopped just after 10 days of first cut when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy news hit the showbiz world, leavinging Bhandarkar into a state of torment and despair.
